Chris Cornelius PhD, C.Geol
Chairman, CEO & President
A ‘hands on’ prospect generator, Chris has held multi dimensional positions in exploration, land, engineering, operations, and M&A in both the energy and mineral sectors. In 2021 he founded AP with a singular goal to explore for non-metallic minerals in Argentina. He has been directly involved in the management and financing of large scale exploration and development projects in Australia, Bolivia, Canada, China, Europe, Papua New Guinea, the UK, and USA.
Octavio Palma
Operations Director
Octavio was the assistant secretary for mining for the province of Buenos Aires. He has an extensive understanding of mineral leasing, mine permitting, and environmental compliance as it relates to both provincial and central government policy and legal practices throughout Argentina. He has worked on resource plays throughout Argentina.
Javier Gomez Figueroa
Exploration Director
Javier is a geologist who has worked throughout Argentina for over 20 years on major exploration and mining ventures. Widely recognized as the authority on evaporites of the Upper Trancoso Member in the Neuquén Basin, he is a Professor and Director of undergraduate studies in geology at the University of Cuyo. He worked for VALE S.A. on exploration and operational development of the solution mining process at the PRC mine.
Konstantin Lichtenwald CPA, CGA
CFO & Director
Konstantin has over 15 years of finance and accounting experience including corporate compliance, accounting, financial management and initial public offerings. He has lived and worked in multiple jurisdictions, including Germany, Australia, and Canada. He is a director of a number of publicly listed companies in Canada.
Peter Turner, PhD, DSc
Subsurface Advisor & Non-Executive Director
Peter is a former Reader in Sedimentology at the University of Birmingham, UK. He has worked extensively on red beds and evaporites and is a recognized world authority on the origin of salt deposits in major North Africa and South American basins. Peter is a Member of the AP Board of Directors.
Tony Kelly JD, LLB, MBA
Non-Executive Director
Tony has over 30 years of investment banking, corporate strategy, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance experience in Australia, Europe, and North America. Tony began his investment banking career at Morgan Stanley in New York and subsequently held senior roles MAST Global, Credit Suisse First Boston, and BZW, where he was head of Global M&A. He is currently a member of the investment committee of one of Australia’s largest infrastructure funds.
Mark Linder
Non-Executive Director
Mark is an infrastructure marketer, and is co-founder of Amöl Projects, a Nordic positioning and go-to-market firm based in Helsinki and Tallinn. Amöl has clients in Finland, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Mark has a background in positioning and investor/stakeholder engagement in resource areas, including natural gas, heavy oil, radioactive waste, tidal lagoon power, and biofuels. He is Nordic director of DEScycle, a UK-based metals recovery technology.
