1,606 Mt of Sylvinite / 391 Mt KCl / 247 Mt K₂O
Argentina Potash Corporation (AP) is extremely excited to release the results of its NI 43-101 study covering its 100% owned 7200 Ha Ceibo licence block in the Neuquén Basin, marking a new chapter not just for us, but for the entire South American potash industry.
The study, conducted by Agapito Associates Inc., the Colorado based consultancy widely regarded as the world’s foremost authority on potash and solution mining technology, lays a robust foundation for rapid appraisal, near-term production, and longer-term strategic planning. The key findings assign an inferred resource of 1,606 Mt of Sylvinite / 391 Mt KCl / 247 Mt K₂O to our Ceibo project; the 2nd largest in situ potash deposit in South America, just behind that of the adjacent PRC mine.

Our contiguous land position and additional proprietary information from existing boreholes, petrophysical logs, core, and 3D seismic, give us confidence to fast-track the Ceibo project. We believe we can move forward rapidly with small footprint horizontal appraisal drilling in 2024-25 and solution cavern / top-side design work. Our near-term goal is clear: to start commercial production of low-risk high quality potash for delivery to local and international partners within 5 years.
Dr. Chris Cornelius, our CEO and President stated, "This is truly a great result for our Argentinian-based exploration, operations, and land management teams". We are just getting started on making AP the potash producer of choice in South America, and we cannot wait to share our journey with you. The future looks bright, and we are extremely proud to be at the forefront of this emerging Argentine industry.
